Regional Aircraft Sales Director

The Regional Aircraft Sales Director will be responsible for seeking new opportunities for growth in specified territory. The ideal candidate will bring an established list of industry contacts to work from day one. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties shall include but are not limited to the following:

  • Possess an expert understanding of aircraft acquisitions and sales.
  • Develop new business through visiting, calling, and emailing prospective clients.
  • Participate in industry events and tradeshows.
  • Create and deliver custom presentations to promote company brand and services.
  • Identify market trends and make suggestions for untapped areas of opportunity.
  • Maximize sales and meet established goals.
  • Travel as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position.
  • Host clients for aircraft showings at aircraft home base or other specified locations
  • Coordinate with Director of Marketing on strategy and materials development for the region
  • Provide routine and timely updates to the CEO, President, Vice President and all active clients.
  • Uphold the Code of Ethics set forth by the International Aircraft Dealers Association
  • Integrate information from various sources to make recommendations to team and clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior aviation sales or commensurate experience required.
  • IADA certified broker preferred.
  • Must have technical aptitude and understanding of broad range of aircraft types.
  • Current/former pilot desired
  • Proficiency with Salesforce preferred
  • Associate degree or commensurate experience
  • Strong negotiating skills a must
  • Demonstrate strong team and leadership skills.
  • Ability to take initiative to work independently and remotely.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Desire for continuous improvement and willingness to embrace role variations that come with company growth.
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Operate software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess excellent organizational and computer skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Ability to easily adapt to change and new technology.
  • Must be goal-oriented, have an exceptional attention to detail, and work well independently and with a team.
  • Must be able to pass a ten-year Background/Criminal/OMV/Drug Screen
