For the past 12 months, the Learjet 40XR inventory numbers have been surprisingly flat with just an 8% rise. However, the average days on the market have been rising sharply since January. If the average days on the market do not reverse course soon, we are anticipating the average asking prices to decrease further over the summer. With just 11 aircraft currently on the market, any decreases in asking prices are sure to alter the landscape of this market. As buyers and sellers begin to emerge from stay-at-home orders any dip in prices can be remedied with an increase of buyers.
