3 Most Popular OAS Aircrafts

3 Most Popular OAS Aircrafts

At Omni Aircraft Sales, everything we do is based on the relationships we nurture. It drives our decisions. These relationships with our customers light our path forward. We proudly spend a lot of time and effort to get it right. When it comes to aircraft purchase and acquisition, we want to be the very best we can be so you get the very best.

It’s important that we anticipate what our clients want. This includes everything from how they take their coffee to what aircraft they prefer. With this being said, not every client knows the perks and benefits of each aircraft. We curated a list of the types of aircraft our customers ask about most often. This list includes three of our most popular aircrafts: King Air, Learjet, and Challenger.

King Air

One of the most iconic aircraft flying today is the Beechcraft King Air turboprop.  While it’s not the G4 that gets glamorized in the movies, it is the workhorse of the personal aircraft market. This aircraft’s range, reliability and versatility are how empires are made—and quicker vacations begin.

The versatility of the King Air is what makes them such a prolific aircraft and causes people to be so drawn to them. The operational parameters are much simpler. You don’t need DFW or their 13,000’ runway to land with ease. The runway space many jets need can be easily cleared by the King Air workhorse. The list of airports and destinations you can access with the King Air makes it a huge selling point for many customers. That’s also why many King Airs are also owner-flown.

When you own your own aircraft, you may need it for a number of reasons. The King Air has you covered as it can be used in a variety of ways. The applications are nearly endless: ranch plane, medical transport, business tool, etc. Its versatility could allow you to call it the “Swiss Army knife of the skies”.

Omni Aircraft Sales’ inventory is constantly changing. If we don’t have one on site, our professional team and our decades of connections should easily find the perfect King Air for your needs.

Learjet

Learjet aircraft

With more than 3,000 Learjets taking flight since their 1963 debut, it is the iconic private jet for businesses and “jet setters”. At one time, it was said to be the most photographed and filmed jet in the world with customers like Frank Sinatra and Arnold Palmer (who incidentally held the record for circumnavigating the globe in a Learjet). The Learjet’s original design was based on a Swiss fighter and it never lost touch with its aggressive roots with its top end speed. For many, it is still considered “the business jet”.

Manufactured in Wichita, KS by Bombardier, the Learjet has made itself a home at Omni Aircraft Sales.  Our sales team has an impressive record of transactional experience with these stalwarts of the skies. It feels like as soon as one lands on our inventory list, another flies out the door. Whether it’s the larger Lear 75 and 60 or the smaller 45 and 48, there is usually a Learjet deal at some level of transaction within our office at any given time. This means that no matter what kind of Learjet you’re looking for, our team of aircraft sales professionals will get you seated in the right one.

For many clients, a huge selling point for Learjet is the attraction of being able to hop around the country and still be back in time for dinner with the kids or a quiet night at home. If you have the ability to make time for those important moments, many executives consider it worth it.

With a variety of ranges and options for each of the several Learjets we have available, talk to your Omni sales professional about what your needs are and let us get you closer to finding your perfect Learjet.

Challenger

Learjet aircraft for sale

Learjet’s parent company, Bombardier, also manufactures the Challenger series of 350 and 650 aircraft. Marketwise, the Challenger series is somewhere between the Learjet and the Gulfstream. It is considered super mid-size with the comfort offered by the Gulfstream but with a more cost-effective operational budget.

The Challenger 650’s 4,000 nautical mile range will certainly get you where you need to go from just about any point in the continental United States. The 650 series seats 12 and gets up to Mach .85. The 350 is no slouch itself with a range of 3,200 nautical miles, seating up to 10 and speeds up to Mach .83.

Additionally, the quiet interior, smooth ride and best-in-class cabin width all appeal to the C-suite traveler looking for an airborne office or just a place to decompress between meetings.
